Today we drive from Cusco to Puno on Lake Titicaca and we cross the 5,000 km mark enroute. We pack up the truck but we need to hang around for a while as there are some things we need to try to sort out. Finally we are on our way by 9 AM. The drive is quite easy going on sealed roads all the way. We have a quick stop for lunch along the way and arrive in Puno just before 5 PM.

After checking in, we head downtown to get some dinner. It is a simple meal and we join some people from the Tucan group (there are a lot of groups going on pretty much the same route). After dinner we wander the streets and briefly stop by an internet cafe.
