Today is a driving day.  We pack up camp and are off a bit after 9 AM (we are not doing well in the on-time department).  The countryside is now one of rolling hills covered with grass and fields.  We encounter a number of overland trucks along the way - we are all heading towards Rio for Carnival.  We have lunch on the side of the road and reach our campsite just before 5:30 PM.  It is a pleasant camp on the edge of a river and right near a small waterfall.  It is a tight drive in down a narrow dirt road with the branches of trees scratching the sides of the truck.  We make it in, but we are not sure of we can make it out tomorrow!

We set up our tent on the water's edge and then just hang out and relax.  The Encounter truck is there, so it is fun to catch up with old friends.  We also work on our diary before dinner.

After dinner, some of us head over to the Encounter truck to chat.  In the end, we play a few games of twister - truck versus truck.  It is a good laugh as we all get tied up amongst each other.  It certainly is a way to get to know people.
