Our routine at the mountain resort now consists of having our three meals at the hotel in their dining room.  In addition, we tend to have a afternoon nap.  Other than that, we undertake a number of activities.  Today, in the morning, after breakfast, we make our way to the summer farm that is in operation nearby.  At the farm they make cheeses and other diary products.

We make our way over there to see what they have to offer.  The operation itself is not that interesting - not much to see of the cheese making.  The more interesting part is going and checking out the cabin and chatting with the farmer.  It turns out that he knows some of Lars' mother's family and they have a bit of a chat about that.

After our lunch at the hotel, a bunch of us decide to go and check out a nearby lake to go for a swim.  It is a short drive down the road, where we turn off onto a dirt track.  With our car, we decide to park at the junction and walk into the lake.  It is a beautiful spot - the blue lake nestled in amongst the forest with mountains peaking above the tree tops.  The only problem is the temperature of the water - very cold.  But we all brave the cold and go for a plunge.  It is very refreshing and the hot sun feels so good on our skin after we emerge from the water semi-numb.

We return to the hotel in the mid-afternoon and spend the rest of the time hanging out with our niece and nephew.  We have our dinner in the dining hall and then retire to the reception for a drink and coffee.  We are now the only guests staying here, so we are starting to get bolder and are bringing our own drinks down.  They are even kind enough to give us a large bowl with ice to cool our drinks with.
