We follow the routine that we have settled into while in Oslo - a lazy morning at the apartment having breakfast, hanging out and doing some work.  In addition, this morning we do some packing as we will be leaving in tomorrow morning.

In the afternoon, we have agreed to meet Jorgen and his family at the Munch museum in Oslo.  We drive out there and meet them at the cafe at around 3 PM.  Before heading into the museum, we have some coffee and cake at the museum cafe.  Then we spend a few hours wandering through the museum admiring the large collection of Munch's paintings on display at the museum dedicated to him.

Some of the paintings do not really appeal to us, but some are just magnificent.  In particular, "The Scream" is fascinating.  We could just spend hours looking at it.  Well, it was a good thing that we came then to take a look at the museum, because a few months later the museum was the victim of a daring day-time robbery in which the Scream and Madonna paintings were stolen.  We did observe at the time that we were surprised at how easily accessible the priceless paintings are.

We enjoyed our tour of the museum, but it soon was closing time so we had to move on.  We drove back to the apartment and we spent the rest of the evening there.  We hang out and have a home cooked dinner.  After dinner we watch the soccer game and have a drink or two.
